What is Unconscious Branding about?
This is all about discovering about how to find the ‘What’s In It For Me?’ angle in everything you do.
Even the greatest entrepreneurs – with the best ideas and truly great products need to have a solid way to market that product… and marketing, when you really get serious and take on the bigger goals your product is worthy of … can be pretty challenging.
If you aren’t able to get really creative your product might be amazing, but never end up in the hands of the people you’ve intended it for – because you just won’t have grabbed their attention.
This book gives you a new way of looking at marketing your products based on Van Preat’s deep understanding of marketing psychology.
He’s shared a seven step process that supercharges your ability to sell more and build a successful brand – no matter who your competition currently is. In it you’ll find out:
- how your choice of mustard reflects your desire for social status;
- why a “cute” Darth Vader can attract more attention than an “evil” one; and
- how gum can be effectively marketed as a healthy product.
REMEMBER: There are no rules to this book club – of course, you’re going to learn more by getting the book and actually reading it yourself, but you might not have the time – and nobody is going to judge you for that. If you’ve not even read the book, but some of the comments or discussion points trigger some ideas feel free to post and talk too. We’re all about learning and growing together.
