While attending the 2013 Content2Conversion conference in New York City it was clear that video content as “the next big thing” for content marketers continued to be a key message and theme. Despite that, questions around video content came up in just about every session, indicating that the appetite to understand how to be effective with video is equally strong.
While at the conference, we were lucky enough to connect with Joe Pulizzi who generously shared his thoughts on the future of content marketing and some very specific thoughts on video content marketing.
The self proclaimed poster boy for content marketing, Joe is the founder of The Content Marketing Institute and evangelizes content marketing around the world through keynotes, articles, tweets and his books, Managing Content Marketing and Get Content Get Customers.
Joe gave us a ton of valuable content and insights (thank you Joe!). In this post, he shares his thoughts on the rapid rise of video content and the shift he’d like to see in how marketers use video content.
Enjoy and stay tuned to more from Joe!
