I mean, I have not used any previous subscribers list or paid tools. All my email subscribers are medium writers.

I Learned After Sending 12K+ Emails:

I don’t force my readers to subscribe but at once then subscribe to my mailing list, often knowledge-giving and making posts and offers.

1. Even when I have 500+ subscribers in 2 months now, nearly 30% of subscribers only open my new email messages.

3. If you add an EMOJI in the subject field or catchy like, your emails are more likely to be opened.

You need not have a website or blog to build your mailing list as well as you can directly export your Medium subscribers and send email campaigns to them.

Though, I have a website about Money Making where I use a popup form to encourage my readers to subscribe to my mailing list.

It’s not absolutely necessary though.

1. You can create a landing or Google form for free and ask your readers, viewers to followers to join you there.
2. Add a subscription form to your Medium posts to build your mailing list.
3. Building a free landing page with email fields can help.
4. Use Quora to get free traffic and email subscribers.
5. Boost your website or medium posts organic traffic to build your mailing list.
6. Use Google Ads to grow your traffic and email subscribers (Mailing list).
7. Ask your friends to readers to join your mailing list.
8. Launch a free video course on UDEMY to build and ask viewers to join.
9. Create shorts on YouTube, Facebook, or other social media and promote your services and email list-building form to get new subscribers.
10. Share in FB groups and on Pinterest to grow your Medium post readers and subscribers.

That really helps. Though my mailing list was built entirely at Medium and they are my loyal readers who love to learn new things.

How to setup:

Now hard work, it takes just 5 mins to create your entire system for free.

1. Go to the Convertkit website and sign up with your email address.

2. In the DASHBOARD, click on “Landing Pages & Forms” as shown above.

3. On the next page click here “Create Now” bottom as shown above.

4. On this page select any one of these and follow the process to build your email subscription form or landing page.

5. Choose any format of your choice as shown above and build your form.

6. Use plus sign to add new fields and click on the “Publish” button as shown above to get the sharable link and HTML or JavaScript code that you can add to your website.

You have an “Email List Building form” ready with to which your readers, visitors, or followers can subscribe.
